About ERA Europe

The Electronic Retailing Association Europe (ERA Europe) is the Association for the Multi-Channel Home Shopping Industry. ERA Europe is the voice and network for businesses that offer innovative products to consumers through audio visual presentation, the internet and other electronic media, according to a recognised code of ethics. ERA Europe advocates and supports the interests of our members and their customers in Europe and the Middle East. Currently ERA Europe represents the interests of circa 70 European and Middle Eastern members.

The Annual Membership Meeting in Prague, January 18th-20th, 2017

The Annual Membership Meeting will be held in the Czech capital city, Prague, from January 18th - 20th, 2017.

All the ERA Europe committees are convened during the Annual Membership Meeting. Interested members are invited and welcome to participate in the sessions of the Conference & Membership Committee, the Public-Affairs Committee and the Self-Regulation Committee.

The General Assembly, to which all member companies are invited, reviews the work of the Board and the Committee. Particularly important is the review/approval of the results of the fiscal year 2016 and the 2017 budget.Furthermore, in accordance with our new statutes (revised 2016), we will elect a new board for the 2017-2019 term.

Venice 2017 €lectronic Home Shopping Conference

The €lectronic Home Shopping Conference 2017 will take place from June 20th - 22nd in Venice at the Hotel Hilton Molino Stucky.

This conference is the only 'direct to consumer' business oriented trade fair and conference in Europe and is for companies who sell 'direct-to-consumer', to the many millions of consumers around the world who buy goods and services on TV, online, and on the move, via electronic media – in other words, for all direct to consumer multi-channel professionals. This show is an expo not only for the marketers and advertisers, but also key suppliers to the industry, such as call centres, warehousing & fulfillment companies, TV production companies, web design companies, legal firms, and of course companies and inventors with products looking for retail distribution into new territories.

MCMS 2017

The Electronic Retailing Association Europe (ERA) introduced the MCMS (Multi Channel Money Streams) for the first time in 2015. The MCMS is an educational congress consisting of a series of panel discussions held during the €lectronic HomeShopping Conference.

The aim of the congress is to have an exchange of ideas with experts from various business arenas, as well as the respective regulators from the national and European level, and to introduce all participants with new ideas that will eventually affect the industry.

EMMA Awards 2017

The inaugural EMMA awards ceremony took place in 2016 during ERA Europe's €lectronic HomeShopping Conference in Barcelona. The EMMAs provide a platform to honour the Home-Shopping industry’s most respected individuals.

The event provides an exciting awards ceremony that honours networks, suppliers and individuals for their ingenuity and creativity and rewards outstanding achievement in the Home-Shopping industry. The highlight of the evening is the presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award which honours an individual who has made a significant contribution to the Home-Shopping industry and who has been continuously instrumental in the growth of the industry....
